Liberty Paw is an American-made pet products company founded by David Spitz and Joseph Farzinzad.

At Liberty Paw, we’re driven by a shared passion for pets, patriotism, and American craftsmanship. Co-Founders David and Joseph united their entrepreneurial spirit and love for animals to create a brand that delivers safe, USA-made pet products, inspired by their beloved dogs, Winston and Maximus.

As dog owners, we recognized the risks of low-quality, often foreign-sourced pet supplies, Liberty Paw offers premium treats, toys, leashes, collars, beds, and supplements ensuring pet health and happiness.

David – The Vision & Heart Behind LibertyPaw

David, a retired chiropractor, brings decades of expertise in health and wellness to LibertyPaw. His holistic approach, emphasizing nutrition, led him to develop two successful brands of nutritional supplements, shaping LibertyPaw’s health-focused products. 

A pilot, former EMT with a volunteer fire department, and 2nd-degree black belt in Kyokushin karate, David channels his passion and discipline into building a trusted, patriotic brand. Married to the love of his life, with five children and three grandchildren, his commitment to family and safety extends to every pet lover’s home.

A couple of years ago, David noticed his dog Winston chewing a plastic bone made overseas. He noticed Winston eating the plastic and decided never again to buy products that were not made in America. He found it was very hard to verify where products were made and had a hard time finding the American products he wanted for his dog. When he saw his daughter's dog chewing on a similar bone with toxic plastic, he had enough and came out of retirement to form LibertyPaw with Joseph, his karate instructor and fellow dog owner.

Joseph– Passion Fueled by Family and Purpose

Joseph, a devoted family man with a beautiful wife and two amazing children, is a visionary leader whose sharp focus on quality was honed through years in his family’s business and training in Kyokushin karate since childhood. A 4th-degree black belt under the International Kyokushinkai Union, Joseph’s discipline and care ensure LibertyPaw’s products meet the highest standards.

From a young age, Joseph pursued entrepreneurial ventures, fueled by a passion for satisfying his customers. He has always admired David as a mentor and aspired to work with him. Inspired by his Cane Corso, Maximus, Joseph’s mission is to counter unsafe pet supplies with premium, USA-made alternatives.

David and Joseph’s partnership began through martial arts, training under Joseph’s father, a renowned martial artist.

Their shared entrepreneurial spirit, patriotism, and love for pets sparked LibertyPaw, a brand dedicated to American craftsmanship and pet well-being. Partnered with trusted USA-based suppliers we’re building a heartfelt pet community.
